The Tilting Sun4 viewsI found an app that will look at your lay & long, time of day and date and then calculate the angle of the Sun for the given moment you shot the image. Then you count the pixels of your solar disk and the app will generate an overlay to place on your image illustrating the angle!

It's the blue/green dot to the left of the Moon. The faint white dots below and to the right of the moon are stars. Normally we don't see them so close to the Moon because the bright glare of the Moon washes out the sky.
